This work is Part I of a 2 part work comprising a projection and installation of 38 oil on board paintings. 38 Days continues Holden’s investigation into painting via self-reflexive narrative fictions that gently probe the notion of painting as a private daily practice, a discipline of meditative ritual or habit. This work was exhibited on Federation Square Screens and No Vacancy Galley, Melbourne in July 2013
